This is Jerry Douglas' first-ever live download, a FestivaLink exclusive. He very carefully selected tunes from the set to give us a download which, at 32 minutes, represents the band's best playing.

Multi-talented musician/composer/producer Jerry Douglas' talents are widely known, both to his musical peers and to an enthusiastic audience that spans the musical spectrum. In addition to being widely acknowledged as America's foremost master of the dobro, the twelve-time Grammy winner is a freewheeling, forward-thinking recording artist whose output draws upon a bottomless well of musical inspiration, incorporating elements of bluegrass, country, rock, jazz, blues and Celtic into his distinctive musical vision.

This is a great cross section of JDB musical diversity - electric, acoustic, jazz. All the musicians are first rate. It's my opinion that this is the best group Jerry Douglas has ever put together. I wish they had included "Who's Your Uncle."... MORE>

This is a great set, the highlight of the festival. I only wish the recording was released in its entirety. It seems like the stuff with Bela was left out. Give us more!
