MerleFest is always a multi-generation experience. On the Kick Off Jam, we heard from 83-year old Dobro master Tut Taylor, 14-year old mandolin phenom Sierra Hull, and a great bunch of talented players in between. John Cowan kept it all moving with a light touch.
