SHOW NOTES
FestivaLink.net presents Norman & Nancy Blake

Ranger Butch, Warehouse recording engineer, says:
"Wrapping up an intense week of recording and mixing in the Warehouse Theater, Norman & Nancy gave the sold-out audience an amazingly intimate, relaxed show that is a rarity on the concert circuit. Enjoy a taste of the Blake's adopted "living room."
The recording project that week was the CD, The Morning Glory Ramblers, a Grammy nominee for Plectrafone, the old-time country division of Western Jubilee."

Players:
Norman Blake (vocals, acoustic guitar)
Nancy Blake (vocals, acoustic guitar)

This pair doesn't travel much these days, so the likelihood of seeing them play is pretty slim. What a great thing to have this show to preserve that experience. This is how I recall them, just talking slow and taking it easy. If you are a fan of old... MORE>
